In April, key steel enterprises sold 2,879,100 tons of steelbillets, an increase of 281,100 tons over the same period of last year, anincrease of 11.21%; as of this month, the cumulative sales of billets in theyear was 9,984,500 tons, an increase of 987,300 tons over the same period lastyear, an increase of 11.02%.

In April, key steel enterprises sold 543.78 million tons ofsteel, an increase of 3.228 million tons or 6.32% over the same period of lastyear. As of this month, the cumulative sales of steel products reached 205.085million tons this year, an increase of 18.32 million tons over the same periodof last year, an increase of 9.82%.
