In April, China imported 1.0 million tons of steel, anincrease of 101,000 tons from the previous month, down 4.3% year-on-year; inJanuary-April, China's cumulative imports of steel was 3.896 million tons, down13.4% year-on-year.
In April, China imported 80.772 million tons of iron ore andits concentrates, a decrease of 5.752 million tons from the previous month,down 2.6% year-on-year; from January to April, China imported a total of 34.208million tons of iron ore and concentrates, down 3.7% year-on-year. .
In April, China exported 582,000 tons of coke, down 18,000tons from the previous month, down 28.4% year-on-year. From January to April,China exported 2.585 million tons of coke, down 13.8% year-on-year.
