According to statistics released by the Indonesian NationalBureau of Statistics (BPS-Statistics Indonesia), Indonesia's coal exports inOctober 2018 were 40.417 million tons, an increase of 3.987 million tons, anincrease of 10.9%. From January to October, the cumulative coal export was 357million tons, an increase of 35.641 million tons, an increase of 11.1%. Amongthem, coking coal exports were 29.067 million tons, down 47.1% year-on-year;non-coking bituminous coal exports were 36.539 million tons, up 4%year-on-year; other coal exports were 217.395 million tons, up 25.6% year-on-year;lignite exports were 7351.9 tons, up 26.9% year-on-year.
